Mt Maunganui industrial
A substantial Mount Maunganui industrial property near the Port of Tauranga has sold for $5.25m, at a yield of 5.1 per cent. Tenanted on a 10-year lease as a fish processing facility, the property at 5-9, 11 and 13 Tyne St encompasses a 4758sq m freehold site across five titles with 2122sq m of warehouse and office space. Simon Clark and Rich Davidson of Colliers Tauranga brokered the sale by deadline private treaty.
Papamoa investment property
Clark and colleague Grant White of Colliers International Tauranga also sold by deadline private treaty a childcare investment property in Papamoa, Bay of Plenty, for $2,821,000 at a yield of 4.8 per cent. The 369sq m childcare centre is on a 1520sq m freehold site with an eight-year lease to BestStart, New Zealand’s largest early learning provider.
Manurewa childcare centre
A 150sq m childcare centre on an 827sq m Mixed Urban Housing site at 49 Browns Rd, Manurewa, and leased to Choice Kids until March 2033; was sold for $1.04m at a 7.38 per cent yield by Tony Chaudhary, Amy Weng and Janak Darji, Bayleys South Auckland

Bare industrial-zoned land of 5045sq m in a new subdivision at 22, 26, 27 and 28 Gateway Park, Pokeno, was sold for $1.2m by John Algie, Bayleys North Shore and Shane Snijder, Bayleys South Auckland.
Whakatane automotive site
Buildings of 2298sq m with multiple motor trade and sales offices across six adjoining leasehold sites, totalling 4727sq m at 266-270 The Strand and 39-45 McAlister St, Whakatane, were sold for $1.1m by Brendon Bradley and Graeme Coleman, Bayleys Tauranga
Matamata dairy farm
Rich, flat farming land of 55.7ha run as part of a dairy farm with adjoining land plus two dwellings at 34 Te Poi Rd, Matamata, was sold for $3.7m by Sam Troughton and Peter Kelly, Bayleys Matamata-Piako.
Rosedale tenanted unit
A tenanted 1110sq m industrial unit at 2/40 Canaveral Drive, Rosedale, on Auckland’s North Shore, was sold for $4.6m in a deal brokered by Matt Prentice and Shoneet Chand of Colliers.
Freehold Airborne facility
Prentice and Chand also brokered the sale of a tenanted 1229sq m industrial facility on a 1603sq m freehold site at 7 Airborne Rd, Rosedale, which sold for $4.75m, at a yield of 4.8 per cent.
Harewood Logistics yard
A 7559sq m leasehold industrial yard property at 24 Logistics Drive, Harewood, near Christchurch Airport, was sold after auction for $3.3m, at yield of 7.64 per cent. The property has an 1134sq m warehouse, canopy and office facility that was purpose-built in 2008 for tenant Apollo Motorhome Holidays, a division of ASX-listed Apollo Tourism and Leisure. The deal was brokered by Sam Staite and Mark Macauley of Colliers Christchurch.
