Takapuna campus sale
A 1.5ha mixed-use Takapuna office campus, encompassing three fully-occupied buildings at 2-4 Fred Thomas Drive, was sold to local syndicator Maat Group for $60.8m and a yield of 6.96 per cent, following marketing by Matt Prentice, Jason Seymour, Shoneet Chand and Janet Marshall of Colliers International’s North Shore office. Seymour claims the sale is the largest single property transaction on the North Shore so far this year.
Lower Hutt bulk retail
A 4053sq m bulk retail building on a 6625sq m site at 395-399 Hutt Rd, Lower Hutt, has sold for $8,750,000 at a 7 per cent yield through Fraser Press, Bayleys Wellington. Three established tenants, Tile Direct, Stewart Electrical and a 10-pin bowling alley/games arcade, are on mixed lease term leases.
Gore St building
A three-level building at 9 Gore St, Auckland CBD, has been sold for $7.1m in a sale brokered by Bruce Whillans of Whillans Realty Group.
Bioscience’s Albany buy
Two office/warehouse units totalling about 2180sq m at 22 William Pickering Drive, Albany, have sold as one lot to an owner occupier, Auckland BioSciences Ltd. The $6,030,000 sale was and transacted by Mike Ryan and Matt Prentice of Colliers International.
Auckland CBD character
A 438sq m character office building at 13 Sale St in Auckland’s CBD sold with vacant possession for $3.2m through Cameron Melhuish, Matt Gordon and Genevieve Thompson-Ford, Bayleys Auckland. It comprises a 290sq m open plan ground floor plus mezzanine and nine secure basement car parks.
Saleyards Rd Otahuhu
A 6807sq m industrial property with a 3462sq m building at 17 Saleyards Rd, Otahuhu, has sold for $6.3m in a deal brokered by Hamish West, Ben Herlihy, Andrew Hooper and Jeremy Barnett of Colliers International. The property is leased to Service Foods Ltd.
Grafton Symonds St units
Three new retail units on the ground floor of the Summit-on-Symonds apartment building at 103-105 Symonds St, Grafton, were sold for a total of $2,060,000 by Millie Liang of Bayleys’ International Division.
Ellerslie retail centre
A 368sq m retail and office building on a 512sq m site zoned Town Centre (13m height limit) at 123 Main Highway in Ellerslie’s retail centre sold for $1.5m at a 6.62 per cent yield through Sunil Bhana and Fraser Pervan, Bayleys Auckland. It has four tenants plus 52sq m of vacant space.
Mt Maunganui commercial
A 1293sq m commercial property suitable for multiple uses with a 480sq m warehouse at 127 Newton St, Mt Maunganui, has sold for $1.2m, in a deal brokered by Rich Davidson and Simon Clark of Colliers International.
Mercer business zoned
A 22,925sq m vacant business-zoned site at SH1, Mercer, has sold by negotiation for $1,950,000 in a deal brokered by Ash Vincent and Greg Goldfinch of Colliers International.
Christchurch investment site
A 523sq m commercial site at 54 Salisbury St Christchurch, has sold at auction for $775,000 to a local investor in a deal brokered by Courtney Doig and Hamish Doig of Colliers International.
