$21m Henderson sale

Richard Kirke and Josh Coburn of Colliers International sold a 9640sq m investment and redevelopment site, in which Storage King is the anchor tenant, which has the potential for a Mixed Use development, at 14-36 Sel Peacock Dr, Henderson, for $21m representing a yield of 5.93 per cent.

New Plymouth trucking depot

A trucking depot comprising three adjoining sites on 3.14ha of land at 141-145 Connett Rd East, New Plymouth, sold for $7.55m at an 8.12 per cent yield through Mike Houlker, Sunil Bhana, Bayleys Auckland and Alan Johnston and Iain Taylor, Bayleys Taranaki. The middle site has three warehouses totalling 4845sq m with rest of the property used for parking and storage. A new 10-year lease to Symons Transport Ltd is in place.

Mt Wellington property

A freehold industrial property with vacant possession at 2 Donnor Pl, Mt Wellington, Auckland, sold at auction for $2.45m. It comprises a 753sq m warehouse and office building occupying only 47 per cent of a 1372sq m site. The property was marketed for sale by Hamish West and Ben Cockram of Colliers International.

St Lukes medical centre

A medical centre investment near Westfield St Lukes sold prior to auction for $5,051,000, at a yield of 4.48 per cent. On a 1642sq m freehold site, 52 St Lukes Rd, Mt Albert, it has a 491sq m building and 24 car parks leased to White Cross and Mercy Radiology. The deal was brokered by Jonathan Lynch and Hamish Paterson of Colliers.

Grey Lynn showroom

An under-developed 508sq m Mixed Use zoned at 12 Maidstone St, Grey Lynn, with a 585sq m showroom and warehouse building, sold for $3.32m at a 3.61 per cent yield through Cameron Melhuish, Bayleys. It is fully leased to a long-standing tenant until December 2022.

Otahuhu heavy industrial

A 1616sq m Heavy Industrial-zoned property at 9 Titi St, Otahuhu, sold with vacant possession for $1.11m. It has a 255sq m warehouse, office and amenity space and a large yard. The deal was brokered by Ash Vincent and Dhiru Patel of Colliers International’s Highbrook Industrial office.

Silverdale development site

A fully serviced 5246sq m development site zoned Light Industrial in the Highgate Business Park, Silverdale, sold for $2,623,000 at $500 per sq m through Matt Mimmack and Rosemary Wakeman, Bayleys North Shore.

Orewa town centre

An 830sq m Town Centre-zoned site at 6 George Lowe Pl, Orewa, sold for $1.5m at a 4.4 per cent yield through Mustan Bagasra, Bayleys Orewa. A 450sq m building has a long standing tenant with a lease expiring in 2021.

Three Manurewa units

Three units in a modern retail complex on the corner of Halver Rd and Great South Rd, Manurewa part of 11-unit development fronting a central car-park, were sold by Piyush Kumar, Bayleys South Auckland. Two 106sq m units — occupied by an Indian takeaway and Tokyo Kitchen — sold for $1,128,000 at a 5.42 per cent yield. A 100sq m unit leased to an internet cafe-computer repair shop, sold for $650,000 at a 4.77 per cent yield.
