North Shore rarity

On the market for the first time in 65 years, a 436 sq m original 1950s residential building on 2487 sq m of Business 9 zoned land at 200 Wairau Rd, Wairau Valley, was sold for $1,350,000 by Trevor Duffin and Ranjan Unka of Bayleys North Shore Commercial


Big Mt Wellington sale

A 12,570 sq m warehouse and distribution facility on a 21,734 sq m freehold site at 31 Carbine Rd, Mt Wellington has been sold off market by Ben Johnson of Barfoot & Thompson Commercial on behalf of Christopher Reeves of Matariki Trust for $10.8 million to purchaser Mark Anderson who plans to lease the building and hold as a long term investment.


Wiri A-grade warehouse

Paul Steele and Mark Bramwell of CBRE sold on behalf of industrial builder Euroclass a 5209 sq m A-grade Wiri warehouse with office and canopy at 12 Ha Crescent for $5.75 million.


Onehunga industrial

Ben Herlihy and Greg Goldfinch of Colliers International; and Mike Houlker and James Hill of Bayleys;have jointly sold a 1.43 ha property containing 5800 sq m of older styled building at 102 Neilson St, Onehunga, for $4,250,000 plus GST. The property was marketed by Bayleys and the purchaser was introduced by Colliers. The property, which was the site of a tannery dating from the 1880s, sold to an owner occupier who plans building works on the property.


Otahuhu centre sale

A vacant 1580 sq m building licensed as an educational facility with over 40 car parks at 42 Atkinson Ave, Otahuhu, has been sold to an owner occupier for $1.9 million by Peter Kermode and Ash Vincent of Colliers International who says its Mixed Use zoning opens up the possibility of residential conversion.


Princes St double

Mike Marinkovich of Bayleys Manukau has sold two industrial properties in Princes St, Onehunga. An 833 sq m warehouse on a 1067 sq m site at 100-102 Princes St and with two tenants on 2-year leases until late 2015, sold for $850,000 at a 7.8 per cent yield. A second 686 sq m warehouse on 674 sq m site at 58 Princes St, was sold by Marinkovich for $832,000 at a 7.8 per cent yield and has a tenant on 3-year term until August 2016.


Matakana retail building

A 320 sq m retail building on a 1549 sq site with 26 car parks at38 Matakana Valley Rd, Matakana, was sold with vacant possession for $1,050,000 by Duncan Napier of Bayleys Warkworth.
